Dimapur, March 29: At least 63 violations of lockdown were reported, 7 FIRs lodged, 25 persons arrested and 17 vehicles seized in the state as of March 28. Informing this Abhijit Sinha, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government of Nagaland said that no law and order incidents have been reported.
On supply of essential goods, shops for food grains and groceries were opened in all the districts except for Kiphire, which opens on alternate days. Medicinal shops were also opened in all the districts. According to the report, no restrictions were imposed the on movement of commercial vehicles for distribution of essential commodities and service providers like electricity, telecommunication, fuels etc.in the State.
Further, in Dimapur, permits were issued to commercial vehicles transporting essential commodities and shops were opened from 8 A.M. to 2 P.M. Also the Jain Samaj distributed food in Dimapur. (Page News Service)
