Dimapur, January 24: A total of 621 constables of UP Police (PAC) passed out from Additional Training Centre (ATC), CRPF, Khatkhati on Thursday. The passing out parade of the recruit trainees was held in the presence of Prakash D., IPS, IGP NES, CRPF, Shillong as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest said that it is a time when the country is being threatened by the naxals, terrorists and separatists and asked the recruits to be wary of their duties and apply the skills they have acquired during their trainings to face the dangers. He also asked them to uphold the legacy of the UP Police.
Previously, Shahnawaz Khan, Principal/DIG said that the recruits have been trained for 24 weeks in different capacities and the training wasn’t easy, but it would make them strong for carrying out their duties well.
During the event, 8 awards of excellence were also presented to the best trainees of the whole course. Yash Choudhary, won the top ‘All Round Best’ award for scoring 1150 points out of 1300 total points. The oath taking ceremony was conducted by Second-in-Command Yasser Abbasi.
The newly passed out constables had started their training on July 30, 2018. (Page News Service)
