DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 2: Notwithstanding the polio immunization drive, COVID-19 vaccination sessions were conducted in 3 districts of Nagaland on Tuesday during which 100 healthcare workers were administered with shots of Coivishield.
A press release from the State Health Department informed that the vaccination sessions were conducted Kohima, Mon and Peren.
With this, the total number of healthcare workers to receive the vaccine in the State has reached 5873.
No adverse events requiring medical intervention has been reported, it informed.
“The healthcare workers in the State have been vaccinated by the Covidshield vaccine. Till date 39,50,156 healthcare workers have been vaccinated across the country by Covidshield and Covaxin vaccines. More than 100 million COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered across the globe,” the department informed. (Page News Service)
