Dimapur, March 4: Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari has approved around 500 kms of more highways-North-South Corridor in Eastern Nagaland between Mon and Avangkhu and East-West corridor connecting Tuensang, Noklak, Kiphire and Zunheboto to Dimapur in order to mitigate the huge connectivity deficit of Eastern Nagaland and remote districts.
Thanking the Union Minister for the approval, Nagaland Governor, R N Ravi said the NHIDCL has commence preparation of DPR.
These highways will be game changers for people living in remote districts, he said.
