Dimapur, April 20: Five members of NSCN (IM) namely Ahoto K Awomi, Dy. Kilonser, Heshito Yeptho, Tatar, Nihokhe K Wotsa, Tatar, Shikuto Shohe, Tatar and Khatoi Yeptho, Tatar, have joined GPRN/NSCN “in the quest for genuine and practical resolution of the Indo-Naga issue”.
A press release from GPRN/NSCN on Tuesday informed that the “home-comers” expressed their discontent and dismay at “the idealistic and obstinate order of their erstwhile faction whereupon the cry and desires of the general Naga people for unity has been ignored”.
As such, “after due thought and observation of the practical and realistic approach exhibited and followed by the leadership of the 7 NNPGs”, they have decided to support and strengthen the Working Committee (WC), NNPG under the banner of GPRN/NSCN for an early acceptable and honourable solution for the Nagas, it stated.
