3rd Late Medoleo Angami Memorial Award

Kohima, June 12 : The 3rd Late Medoleo Angami Memorial Award Cum HSLC 2022 felicitation programme for the successful HSLC candidates was held at S. M Baptist High School (SMBHS) Wokha on June 11.
Tumben L Yanthan was the recipient of the award.
The award instituted in 2019 is an annual recognition given to highest scorer of SMBHS Wokha.
It was instituted by family members of late Medoleo Angami in order to encourage the student to do well in academics and also give back to the school in a smallest way in his ( Medoleo Angami) memory, the school where he studied and passed out his matriculation.
Alenuo Angami, sister of Lt Medoleo gave a short speech on behalf of the family.
She encouraged the students to work hard and believe in themselves.
With hard work & dedication, anyone can achieve its goals irrespective of division, she said.
She encouraged the student to spread love and serve people without boundaries
Mhao Murry, finance secretary Board of Trustees, T R Foundation, expressed his appreciation to the family for their contribution towards the school.
Earlier, sharing and thanksgiving was delivered by R. Zuchobeni, Associate women leader, WTBC.
Welcome address was delivered by Tsupon Murry, headmaster while vote of thanks was delivered by Nyanbeni Jami, assistant headmaster.
The Board of trustees, Thungchanrhomorui Foundation, school Managing Committee and the school staff members expressed profound gratitude to Late Medoleo Angami’s family for their unwavering support and encouragement for the student through moral and financial assistance for the past three years for the betterment of the school.
Through the magnanimous gesture of the family in setting up late Medoleo Angami Memorial Award, the school has been motivated and inspired to work harder and have been consistently achieving outstanding HSLC results, it stated.
