3rd Kohima Football League: Sechü-Zubza wins

Kohima, June 20: After two consecutive losses, defending champion Sechü-Zubza Football Club today earned their full points of the ongoing Kohima Football League played at IG Stadium here under the aegis of Kohima Town Club.
Sechü-Zubza defeated United 16 FC 4-1 in their penultimate match of the season to remain at third position with 9 points after Vanguard FC Tseminyu and Forerunners FC Thizama both of whom has 12 points each.
Rhitsho Mero opened the score for the defending champs in 25th minute which turned to be only goal for the first half. After the lemon break Mero doubled the lead in 60th minute.
Toboka Yepthomi though managed to decrease the margin for United 16 in 65th minute but there was no further challenge but they conceded two more goals as Petevizo Kezieo netted the third goal in 72nd minute and Mero sealed the score board with his hat-trick and fourth goal for the team in 82nd minute.
