Kohima, June 13: Forerunners Football Club Thizama defeated defending champions in the third leg of the ongoing Kohima Football League organized by Kohima Town Club at IG Stadium here today.
In an equally competitive match, Forerunners came from behind to defeat the defenders 3-2 and surge on top of the league chart with nine points.

With the two top teams trying to surge ahead each other the match also witnessed some reckless fouls being committed while referee penalised two players each on both sides.
