Kohima, September 3: The 37 Battalion BSF stationed at Chedema today organised a prelude Teachers’ Day at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya School Kohima and felicitated the teachers for their selfless contribution in developing the minds of the younger youths.
The event was also aimed to promote awareness, feeling of patriotism and national integration among the young hearts of the citizens, wherein a short film displaying a brief outlook of BSF and its role and task was screened followed by power-point presentation on BSF recruitment platforms, pay benefits, facilities offered etc.
The event was graced by Vizobilie Punyü, an athlete from Kohima and other guests including Chairman Keyakie, Principal and teachers of JNV school and retirees of BSF.
All-together, 250 students from JNV, officers and troops of BSF Chedema attended the programme.
