364 persons vaccinated in Wokha

DIMAPUR, JANUARY 20: On the fourth day session of COVID vaccination at District Hospital Wokha, 42 persons were inoculated, according to the District Immunization Officer (DIO), Wokha, Dr. Khelito Zhimomi.
Altogether, 364 healthcare workers have been vaccinated in the district so far.
Zhimomi informed that for the next session, the Government of Nagaland has directed to have only three days of vaccination in a week-Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so that routine immunization and routine essential services are not disturbed or interrupted.
She also informed that more vaccine doses are expected to reach so that frontline workers can be vaccinated. She appealed all to avail the vaccine during the first phase.
Chief Medical Officer of Wokha, Dr. CW Tungoe, who was also administered with the COVID vaccine today, urged and encouraged all to come forward and avail the vaccine while the Government of India is giving it for free. (Page News Service)
