Chetheba, December 30: The 31st general session of Chetheba Town Students’ Union was held at Town Hall under the theme “Amplify your proficiency” on December 29. Sub-divisional Agriculture Officer, Chozuba, Thepusa Nakro graced the occasion as the guest speaker.
Speaking on the occasion, the speaker reminded the students that there is no substitute to hard work and no shortcut to success. He added God has created all of us with a purpose to be successful and not a failure.
“Start working hard towards the roots to which you have the potential skills and what you aspire for and success awaits you in the end,” he said.
Stating that there was no place for average students in this competitive world to be successful, he urged the students to give their 100% effort in whatever they do. Exhorting the students that everyone is genius, he advised students to identify the unwanted desires which prevents them from reaching the attained goals.
Speaking on the theme, he said one has to start enlarging their skills, capabilities and potentialities in order to explore and make the best of the God given talent. “It is we to identify our potential and ability,” he said.
CTSU president Senetsolu Nyekha in her presidential address said Chetheba town has a history of unified neighbouring villages where the town was established mainly for the purpose of educational center.
To this she said fulfilling the dreams of the pioneers, today Chetheba has a become the center of educational institutes.
Chokri Baptist School headmaster Zakhoto Rokha exhorting the students impressed upon the students to work hard and utilize time wisely as they pursue their career.
Meanwhile 34 students were awarded the meritorious awards for their excellence in academic performance. Art gallery of students was also exhibited, which was organized by the union during the statewide lockdown under the banner ‘Unlock the Mind 2020’. (Page News Service)
