2nd day of Tokhu Mini Hornbill at Wokha

Wokha, November 5: Transport Commissioner Elias T Humtsoe gracing the second day of Lotha Tokhu Emong cum Mini Hornbill festival at Wokha as special guest instilled the idea of togetherness for common good and welfare of Lotha community. He reflected on Christian doctrine and advocated love, peace and unity rather than a practicing simple Christian by name.
He called for brotherhood love and unity, reminding that everyone is created by God with own his image to which, everyone need to regard the sanctity, which will automatically uphold more love, peace and unity.
He told the community not to create a death grave for the younger generation but to uphold ancestors pride by creating good history and deliver to the younger generation for Tokhu celebration is all effort of ancestors since time immemorial to make unity among one another.
Various cultural troops participated during the “indigenous dance and song competition” in the morning while evening session was followed with “talent show and competition” where Colonel Hiren Borah commandant, 28 Assam Rifles, Wokha graced the session as the special guest. (Page News Service)
