2nd Champions Trophy: Woods XI (B), Scarlet Dominators and Walford CC win

Dimapur, February 17: Woods XI (B), Scarlet Dominators and Walford Cricket Club won in their respective matches of the 2nd Champions Trophy organized by Nagamese Baptist Fellow at Chumoukedima Ground today.
In the first match, Woods XI (B) defeated Royal CC by 8 wickets. Woods XI (B) won the toss and elected to field restricting Royal CC at just 72 runs. They achieved the target in only 7.1 overs with Narayan being awarded the man of the match for scoring 45 runs and taking 2 wickets.
Scarlet Dominators won against Hornbills by 10 wickets in the second match of the day.
Put to bat first, Hornbills set the target of 172 runs which was easily achieved by Scarlet Dominators in just 10 overs. Chandan was adjudged the man of the match for scoring 104 runs as well as the first century of the 2nd Champions trophy.
In the third match, Walford CC knocked L.S.U Seithekema CC by a solitary wicket.
Taking the bat, L.S.U Seithekema set the target of 206 runs while Walford managed to complete the task with a ball in hand. Sujal of Walford CC was awarded the man of the match for scoring 74 runs.

2. Braveheart Warrior vs Bokajan XI Star at 1 p.m.
