250 students attend Summer Exposure Camp


Dimapur, July 28: The Project SPATIAL team of CAN Youth on Saturday organized a ‘Summer Exposure Camp’ here at Green Park, 5th Mile with around 250 students of five different schools namely Sematilla Government School, Dhansripar Government School, Purana Bazar Government School, Vephuho Foundation School and Millinneal Vision School.
Speaking on the occasion as a special guest, K.Ela, Director, Prodigals Home and advisor of Nagaland Alliance for Children and Women Rights asked the attending students to be SMART (sensible, sensitive, marketable, magnetic, attractive, accountable, reliable, respectable, teachable and trustworthy) in their conducts and start bringing the changes in the society that it needs by being a better person in the family and locality.
She said that the society is in much crisis but the students can make it better by becoming ‘smart’ humans.
A short speech was also delivered by Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) general secretary Vimenuo Liegise on the occasion.
Previously, Jenpu Rongmei, chief functionary CAN Youth in his address had given a brief introduction and history of Project SPATIAL and said that the camp is about celebrating life and each other and having a sense of joy.
The different activities conducted during the camp were obstacle race, catch the sweets, balloon bursting, three-legged race, swing the sweets, skit and speech competition.
