23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy: Khuzama YO & F4C wins

Kohima, September 25: Khuzama Youth Organisation and Football For Change (F4C) Academy today won their respective matches to move into the round of 16 of the ongoing 23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy organised by Angami Students’ Union (ASU) at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima.
In the first match, Khuzama YO blanked Sepfü Football Club by 2 goals.
While the first half ended in a goalless draw, Zevito Khizo (7) opened the scorecard in the 61st minute while Vilhuvoto Sale (12) doubled the margin in the 75th minute. Khizo was awarded the man of the match, which was handed over by former president of ASU and NSF Kelhouneizo Andrew Yhome.
Playing the second match, F4C Academy comfortably won against Kigwema Students Union by 4-0.
Lungin Lhouvum (9) netted the first goal within nine minutes while Kishore Tiwari (7) increased the tally in the 59th minute. They got a bonus with an own goal in the 77th minute while Kamgouha (11) sealed the scoreboard in the 80th minute. Voto Neikha, former president and current ASU Tribunal presented the man of the match award to Ngamminlem Khonsai (13) of F4C Academy.

1. Meriema Youth Organisation vs Jakhama Youth Organisation at 11:30 a.m.
2. Tiema Khe Kidima vs Chedema Warriors at 1:30 p.m.
