Dist Admn creates awareness on Covid safety protocols

Dimapur, September 11: Under the initiative of Dimapur district administration, Committees were constituted for ensuring compliance to COVID 19 directives and safety protocols under Dimapur district. The committee members today covered the stretch from Church Road to GS road creating awareness amongst the masses and shopkeepers on the safety protocols to be followed. Meanwhile, defaulters were penalised and challaned. Committee members comprised of administrative officers, representative from Commissioner Police office, DMC, DCCI and volunteers from respective area/ colony, business union. (Page News Service)...

Former Medical Officer passes away

Dimapur, September 11: Former Medical Officer of Jalukie, Dr M Rahman passed away on September 9 last at Dimapur. He is survived by one daughter, 4 sons and 13 grandchildren. Born at Nazira, Assam, he completed his MBBS from Assam Medical College I 1971 and joined Nagaland Health Services in 1973 and worked till 1982 at Peren, Noklak and Jalukie.
