Central drugs regulator asks states, UTs to stop online sale of medicines

New Delhi, December 4: Country's drugs regulator has asked all states and Union Territories to prohibit sale of drugs by online pharmacies as per the Delhi High Court order, a senior health ministry official said on Wednesday. New Delhi, December 4: The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved a proposal to extend reservation for SCs and STs in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies for 10 years, but is learnt to have done away with a similar quota for the Anglo-Indian community. NEW DELHI, DECEMBER 4: India continued to build on its recent success in controlling malaria, with the number of annual deaths going below 10,000 for the first time ever in 2018, a 41% reduction over 2017, according to the World Health Organization's (WHO) World Malaria Report 2019 released on Wednesday.
