2 students drown in Doyang


Kohima, April 28: Two students of St. Joseph’s College Jakhama were reportedly drowned yesterday evening. Family sources said that the two students who were on vacation had gone for fishing at Doyang river near Longidang Village in Wokha district along with relatives. Meanwhile, Jakhama Lotha Students’ Union has mourned the tragic demise of the two students belonging to department of history in St Joseph’s College. LSU Jakhama said, both were active, responsible and sincere members of the Union. Further, the union prayed for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace, and comfort for the bereaved family members.
