
Dimapur, February 7: Two new health sub-centres in Tuensang Sadar block-one each at Sipongsang and Nyinyem villages- were inaugurated by the Chief Medical Officer, Dr I Moatemjen, on February 5 and 6 respectively.
During the inaugural function at Sipongsang village, Dr. Moatemjen urged the local community to support the department and perform well to be the best sub-centre. He also reminded the gathering that it is the duty of the community to take ownership of the health unit as their own.
At Sipongsang village, the medical team were also conducted a free health camp at the newly inaugurated sub-centre, where a total number of 60 OPD were registered during the camp.
Leaflets on leprosy diagnostic card for healthcare workers and face masks were also distributed during the camp.
