1st Revised Edition of a book titled “Strange Country” released in Kohima

Kohima, June 17: The 1st Revised Edition of a book titled “Strange Country” – A story of the Nagas, for the Nagas (My Experience in Naga Nationalism) by Zapuvisie Lhousa was released today at AWO Building here.
Managing Director, Northfield School and Adviser ANPSA Nagaland Pheluopfelie Kesiezie released it at a simple function, wherein he described the book as an important resource which would be helpful for researchers, scholars and also the younger generation to learn about the history of Naga nationalism. He expressed optimism that it would benefit many.
In his speech, Lhousa believed that this book should be regarded as the basic documents and records of the first stage of “our heroic but perilous struggle,” from January 1929 to August 1947.”

Keviyiekielie Linyü while vote of thanks was proposed by retired geologist Thepfiizekuo Khatsü Hieme and Pastor of Mezoma Baptist Church Rev. Vicavor Krose pronounced benediction. Special number by Rokovi Khawakhrie enthralled the gathering.
