Dimapur, September 9: The first ever chess coaching camp cum 1st Mokokuchng District Chess championship was held from September 6 to 9 at unit school DEF Mokokchng, organised by Youth Resources & Sports Department, Nagaland Chess Association in collaboration with DEF Mokokuchng.
The results of the 1st Mokokchng District Chess championship 2022 are: Champion – Parkash Burathoki, 1st runner up – Imoten & 2nd – Sentisangla.
The Nagaland Chess Association has also set-up its unit, Mokokchng District Chess Association (MDCA) and distributed 10 chess sets to (MDCA) and 10 chess sets to unit school DEF Mokokuchng.
The Mokokuchng District Chess Association is headed by President – Lanulemba Longchar and general secretary – Akumyanger Lemtur.
