Kohima, May 25: A. Yhome Football Club and Magdaline Coaching FC won their respective matches in the ongoing league quarterfinal matches of Kohima Super Cup played at IG Stadium Kohima today.
In the first match, Yhome FC shocked Aphuyemi FC by a solitary goal to earn three points. Vilhoubeituo Yhome scored the only goal.
Magdeline FC stunned Barak FC by 2-1 in the second match. Dupisa Pucho and Kelengol scored for Magdaline FC, while Baoringdao Bodo scored for Barak FC.
Today’s win for both teams means each team from Group-2 has won a match each and their entry into the semi-finals depends on their next match scheduled for Friday.
