Dimapur, February 9: United XI, Manu Brothers and Dimensions CI CC won their respective matches on the second day of the 1st Champions Trophy T-20 cricket Tournament organized by Nagamese Baptist Fellowship (NBF) Sports Ministry, Chümoukedima Village and powered by G-Sports on the theme “Pursue oneness” commenced today at Local Ground Chümoukedima Town.
In the first match, United XI winning the toss decided to field and restricted opponent Royal Club at 108 runs in 18.6 overs. United XI managed to achieve the target in 14 overs losing 7 wickets with Abinash being adjudged as man of the match.
In the second match, Manu Brothers defeated Patriotic by 3 wickets. Batting first Patriotic scored 132 runs in 19 overs while Manu Brothers achieved the target in 16 overs losing 7 wickets. Labunesh was declared the man of the match.
In the third match, Dimensions XI CC defeated Green Galaxy CC by 165 runs. Deciding to bat first, Dimensions set a huge target of 233 runs losing 5 wickets in 20 overs. However, chasing the target Green Galaxy batsmen CC were bundled for 68 runs in 14 overs. Aletuo was adjudged man of the match.
