173 Bn CRPF prepares unemployed youths for job opportunities

Dimapur, February 7: With the aim of providing assistance to the needy unemployed youths of Nagaland and to prepare them for Job opportunities in CAPFs, the 173 Battalion, CRPF, Airfield Dimapur had conducted Indoor coaching classes and Physical Endurance Test (PET) from September 3, 2018 at their Battalion Headquarters.


The unit had mobilize youths from all over Nagaland for enrollment through print and electronic media for Recruitment of Constable (GD) in CAPFs-2018 conducted by SSC-2018 and had assisted them through on-line registration of Forms. Accordingly, 598 youth (male-496 and female-102) had registered for the pre-recruitment training who were provided free Staff Selection Commission Recruitment (SSC) coaching classes and Physical Endurance Test (PET) by trained PTI staffs of the Battalion under the able guidance of the unit Commandant.
Out of the total registered candidates who had been imparted training by the battalion, 56 registered candidates i.e. male- 37, female-19 have successfully cleared the final merit list and got selected in Recruitment of Constable (GD) in CAPFs-2018 conducted by SSC-2018 result which was declared on January 20.
Vishnu Gautam, Commandant 173 Bn CRPF in his brief speech congratulated all the successful candidates and encourage them to strive hard for excellence as they join various training school for basic training and give their best in every field and opportunity.
Further, the successful candidates expressed their gratitude for providing the opportunity and guidance to the unit for the efforts in preparing them for their successful achievements and assure to give their best in the service of the nation.
