Nagaland News

DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 16: The 14 Tribes of Nagaland have urged the Government of India and Naga negotiating groups to come together and sign the agreement without further delay.
In a statement issued by its Press and Media Cell, the 14 Tribes said the Naga people are anticipating a transparent political agreement, honourable and acceptable to the people.
In a meeting, the 14 tribes resolved to urge all the stakeholders to respect the sentiments of the people and that no political groups should resort to threats, intimidation or aggressive tone which vitiates the peaceful atmosphere thus far.
“The 14 tribes of Nagaland shall not, at any cost, tolerate any kind of such acts within the domain of our ancestral land. Should any Naga political group resort to violence and bloodshed, they shall be considered as opposing people’s will and shall be treated as “anti Naga” and the 14 tribes shall jointly condemn and also initiate severe actions against such individual or groups,” the statement said.
