12 more Naga Club officials granted conditional anticipatory bail

DIMAPUR, JUNE 6: Twelve more officials and Advisors of Naga Club were on Tuesday granted conditional anticipatory bail against the FIR filed by Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) in connection with the destruction of Naga Club building in Kohima on May 27.
The interim anticipatory bail were granted to Y Vandanshan Lotha, Vice President of Naga Club; Medoselhou Keretsu, Working Committee Member of Naga Club; Dr. Hotokhu P Zhimomi, Chaplain of Naga Club; Dr. Vinito L Chishi, Advisor to Naga Club; Pheluopfelie Kesiezie, Trustee Board Member of Naga Club; Hoshito Assumi, Treasurer of Naga Club; Pankathung Tsanglao, Executive Member of Naga Club; KN Mhonthung Lotha, Secretary of Naga Club; Vixepu Swu, Treasurer of Naga Club; Ariyi Nienu, Advisor to Naga Club; Visa Meru Zeliang, Vice President of Naga Club; and K John Lohe, Vice President of Naga Club.
“The learned Public Prosecutor shall produce the Case Diary on June 15, 2023. In the interim, after hearing the parties, pre-arrest bail is granted to the applicant on the following conditions: the applicant shall appear before the OC, North Police Station, Kohima/the Investigating Officer of the case within a period of five days from today; in the event of arrest of the applicant by the Police, the applicant shall be released on executing a bail bond of Rs 20,000 with one surety of the like amount; the applicant shall appear before the OC, North Police Station, Kohima/Investigating Officer as and when summoned; the applicant shall not indulge in similar or same offence with which he is charged; the applicant shall co-operate with the Police in the investigation of the case; violation of any of the conditions above shall lead to automatic cancellation of the interim bail”, stated an order issued by Justice Kakheto Sema.
The case will be heard next on June 15.
