12 cadres of Myanmar based NSCN (K) join NSCN (R)

Dimapur, October 8: The NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) today disclosed that 12 armed Myanmar based NSCN (K) cadres led by Maj Gen Tingkam Konyak and Brig Tampba Konyak has joined NSCN (R).
In a press release issued today, the NSCN (R) stated that an official program
to “welcome the officers and cadres” was organized at CIIQ (Council Head Quarter), Pinhang, Tizit yesterday.
Both the President and Alo Kilonser had expressed their profound happiness and thanked the officers and cadres for taking the right decision in joining the party and warmly welcomed all the members under its fold.
According to the press release, both the senior officers Maj. Gen. Tingkam Konyak and Brigadier Tampha Konyak also thanked the collective leadership of NSCN (R) for giving them yet another opportunity to work for the nation. They expressed their complete faith on the able leadership of President Y.Wangtin Naga and Ato- K.Ilonser P.Tikhak and vowed to work with renewed zeal and vigor for the Naga national cause. They also expressed their un­happiness over the killing among Naga brothers in Myanmar.
