Dimapur, January 24: The 111 Bn BSF organized Civic Action Programme at CI Post Chozuba, Phek district (Nagaland) and CI Post Laniye Bridge, Ukhrul district of Manipur on January 24 as a goodwill gesture towards local population.
Sanjay Tandan, Commandant and Surender Singh, Second-in-Command interacted with villagers and distributed sports items, Solar Lights Panels, RO Plants and Water Storage Tanks to the villages of Iganumi, Rangazu New, Rangazu Old, Khesomi, Yoruba, Laniye, Lossami, Lozaphemi, Upper Khomi and Lower Khomi.
The local population appreciated the gesture on the part of 111 Bn BSF and stated that such programme will go a long way in further consolidating the harmonious relationship prevailing between the locals and Border Security Force.
