Dimapur, May 15: A total of 1084 citizens of Nagaland stranded in other North Eastern States have arrived Nagaland till date, informed Principal Home Secretary, Abhijit Sinha, IAS.
“Regarding arrival of stranded people into Nagaland from other North Eastern States, a total of 1,084 persons have already arrived till date,” he said in his daily briefing on the State’s COVID-19 status.
Meanwhile a DIPR report said 333 passengers in 14 buses from Meghalaya and five private vehicles with 17 passengers from Assam reached Dimapur on May 15.
On arrival at reception center, Agri Expo Dimapur, all the returnees filled in the necessary particulars and were screened after which they were taken to their respective quarantine centers.
A total of 754 persons have reached Dimapur from Assam, Meghalaya, Andra Pradesh and Delhi, the report said. (Page News Service)
