Public march against AFSPA Dimapur, Nagaland │ Dimapur to Kohima
Around 200 citizens marching towards Kohima as the 2-day public march against AFSPA by Nagaland's like-minded citizens begins at around 6:30 a.m., January 10, 2022 at the Supermarket area, near The Garden, Dimapur. The march will conclude on January 11.

Naga heavy metal rock band Squadron, one of the recipients of the Governor’s Award 2020 for Music performed Eric Clapton’s “Tears in Heaven” at Dr. Imkongliba Hall, Raj Bhavan, Kohima on Independence Day.
After the performance, a member of the band, K Lanu Aier shared that the performance was in a way “A tribute to their bandmate and brother Lt. O. Temsu Imsong who passed away on June 17, 2020.”
Talking about the award they received on Sunday, Lanu also said "This is also like a birthday gift to our band as we just turned 31 recently."

Nagaland receives doses of Covishield vaccine
The first lot of 26,500 Covishield vaccines for Nagaland reached Dimapur in an Indigo airplane from Delhi on January 14, 2021. The vaccines packed in 3 freezers were received by Chief Medical Officer Dimapur, Dr Mereninla Senlem, Dr Keshka, and other officials from Medical Department, Kohima at Dimapur Airport and was transported in a special vehicle to Kohima.
