State BJP hits out at Cong

Dimapur, January 11: Hitting out at the statement of AICC secretary in-charge of Nagaland Dr K Jayakumar for crediting the Indian National Congress for inking of the Framework Agreement between the NSCN-IM and the GoI, the BJP Nagaland alleged that the Congress-led UPA had played delay tactics for years on the Naga political issue.  

"Everyone knows that it was only after Modi's leadership that things are moving forward," said a release by State BJP media cell. 

On the food habit, the party said Northeast is exempted from any forms of restriction.

Claiming that the BJP believes in the Constitution of India as law and as enshrined in the party constitution, the BJP said the party under the Prime Minister Narendra Modi take politics beyond considerations of caste, family-dominance, appeasement, vote-bank and main streaming the politics of performance in the country.

Meanwhile, the party informed that it will commence its second phase of Booth-level training meeting from January 12 to 19 covering Mon, Kohima, Phek, Wokha and Zunheboto districts. (Page News Service)
