Rajnath Singh arriving State today

Dimapur, December 6: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will visit Nagaland on December 7, during which he will also attend the Hornbill Festival at Kisama. He will also inaugurate the 'swimming pool, sports complex and hoisting of highest National flag' at Assam Rifles Training Centre & School, Shokhovi, Dimapur on December 8. 

Meanwhile Lok Sabha MP, Neiphiu Rio along with Minister for Environment, Forest & Climate Change Neiba Kronu made a courtesy call on Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at his office resident in New Delhi. 

During the brief interaction with Rajnath, Rio called for an early settlement of the Naga political issue. He mentioned that with the settlement of Naga problem, peace and development can come true in the State and to the North East Region in general.

The Union Home Minister said that during his visit to the State on December 8 for the Hornbill Festival he will meet State leaders and discuss the issue.

Both the Union Home Minister and MP will be travelling together for the Hornbill Festival in the State. (Page News Service)
