KPU suspends proposed agitation

Dimapur, November 18: The Kandi Public Union (KPU) has resolved to keep its indefinite agitation, scheduled from November 20, in abeyance following Government's decision to constitute 4-member committee on RD Block Chunlikha imbroglio and on the appeal by the department to keep the proposed agitation in abeyance.

In an emergency meeting held today, the KPU honoured the decision of the government and resolved to suspend the agitation keeping in mind the festive season, till further notification.

The Union, with good hope and faith, anticipates the wise decision of the committee  for the welfare and benefit  of the community at large. (Page News Service)
