Dimapur, November 17: The Nagaland Legislators Christian Fellowship is observing a 'National Prayer Day' on November 18 at State Banquet Hall, Kohima from 8 am to 10 am.

It is not known whether the 'National' in the 'National Prayer Day' being observed is referring to India as a 'Nation' or Nagas as a 'Nation'.

"On this day of prayer, we invite people of all faiths, churches and civil societies to pray for peace in the State. We also encourage all to observe the day in unison with prayer and fasting as it is practiced by all religions," said a CMO press release.

"The prayer day is significant as it empowers us to recall God's blessings and to seek His wisdom in times of tribulations. It is also a time to come before God and seek His guidance for our leaders and His grace upon His people," the CMO said.
