Dimapur, November 11: Lauding the Dimapur Commissionerate Special Branch (DCSB) for unearthing the fake Aadhaar generation rackets in Dimapur recently, the CNTC has asked the State Government whether the thousands of fresh applicant for Aadhaar cards made by using fictitious documents that had been issued mostly to suspected illegal immigrants from the neighbouring state of Assam will be legalized or nullified.

In a press release, CNTC said the Aadhaar cards seized from illegal racket centers should be annulled and invalidated, and all other Aadhars made before in the State should also be thoroughly examined.

"We would want to see the chief minister and the home minister do their part as the police have been doing their part with the best of their ability. Coordinated efforts should come from all sections as both of them had said accordingly. Both the chief minister and the home minister should also coordinate with their counterparts of Assam otherwise lakhs of illegal immigrants will be legalized and claim to be a citizen of India from these fake Aadhaars of made in Nagaland state," it stated.

The CNTC appealed to all colony GBs, chairmen and respective councils to be vigilant and watchful of these activities in their localities and inform the police to take punitive action on these miscreants involved in such illegal activities.
