MCCI resolves

Dimapur, December 6: The Mon Chamber of Commerce & Industry held its general meeting on December 1 last and resolved that the term of the Executive Council would be 3 years.

It resolved that all the shop and business establishment under Mon Town should be registered under Mon Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) by virtue of paying the annual membership fees under the following categories Rs. 300, Rs. 200 and Rs. 100.

It resolved that expired goods would not be allowed to sell in the market and if anybody found then action should be taken seriously and checking are not allow in the market without the knowledge from MCCI and administration authority.

As the activities of the relating to business welfare matter, the office bearers of the Mon Chamber of Commerce & Industry should comprise of at least 50% from business community and entrepreneurs, and the remaining post to be filled by active locals who are well aware of local problems and situation.

The new office bearers appointed for the tenure of 2017-2020 include Ünok SN as president, Ahmed, Geih-e Konyak and Mitles as vice president; K Kamnyi Konyak-general secetary; Changko and Akham Konyak-joint secretaries; Jeilei Konyak-finance secretary; Khowang Konyak-treasurer; Manma Konyak-coordinator; Lucy and K Mary Konyak-women nominee.
