CM interacts with YoCW trained youths

Dimapur, August 12: Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang accompanied by some of his cabinet ministers and Parliamentary Secretaries today had a brief interaction with trained youth of Year of Construction workers (YoCW), who were conducting an emergency road restoration works at Purana Bazaar during the CM's inspection tour of roads in Dimapur. 

During the interaction, the YoCW youths apprised the chief minister on the need for imparting more skill training to them in varied fields.

Zeliang said that the year 2016-17 has been declared as the year of construction workers and informed that the Government has funded the youths for undergoing training and also for purchase of uniforms. Already training in 9 districts has been covered, he said. 

The CM assured that funds will be provided wherever required if the youth are willing to work and asked them to identify the area of training they require. Zeliang said that the trained youth can be the trainers to train new trainees. 

Trainer from Zynorique, Kevitsu Doze informed that training will be conducted in the remaining two districts, Kohima and Longleng after Independence Day. (Page News Service)
