State BJP delegation reaches Karnataka

Dimapur, May 4: A delegation of the State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland unit led by BLP leader and Deputy Chief Minister cum Home Minister & National Highways, Y Patton accompanied by Health & family Welfare Minister, S Pangyu Phom, Minister for Higher & Technical Education, Temjen Imna Along and Secretary Organising, Ananta Mishra reached Bengaluru on May 3 in view of the Karnataka legislative assembly election.
Today, the delegation met All India BJP General Secretary, Muralidhar Rao in the State BJP Office at Bengulure and deliberated the strategies to reach out to the Northeastern people in general and the Nagaland citizens in particular. There are about 8 lakhs population of the NE people and more than 8,000 registered people only from Nagaland State only.
On May 6, there would be a “North East Samavesha” at 4 pm at Palace ground, Gate No.1, Bengalure. Chief Ministers of the Northeastern States and other Ministers have consented to grace the event. National BJP President, Amit Shah will also be participating in the said event as the main speaker.
In this connections, the BLP Leader and Deputy Chief Minister, Y.Patton appealed to all the well wishers and the citizens from Nagaland State to participate and witness the said event.
Earlier, the State BJP General Secretary, Jaangsillung and former State President Dr M.Chuba Ao were already stationed at Bengaluru and has been meeting various student leaders from Nagaland and the people from North East residing at Benguluru. (Page News Service)
