DIMAPUR, NOVEMBER 13: Nagaland Foothill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) has urged the State Government to expedite the process to call for tender and to issue work orders for the foothill road at the earliest as the working season has commenced.
In a meeting held today, the Committee resolved that “in order to materialize the workmanship and the quality of the pliable road” there shall be a tripartite agreement among the Department, the NFHRCC and the contractors.
It is also resolved that in order to maintain transparency, no payments of bills shall be made to any contractors without completion certificate issue by the Department and the NFHRCC based on spot verification.
The meeting further resolved to have a consultative sitting with the Department at the earliest possible time to avoid any confusion and to expedite the project. (Page News Service)
