Nagaland COVID-19 tally rises to 9207; 2 more deaths reported

Dimapur, November 4: Nagaland reported 56 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday taking the State’s tally to 9207. But with 7934 recoveries and 38 deaths, the number of active cases in the State is 1143.
Of the 56 new cases, 27 were detected in Dimapur, 24 in Kohima, 2 each in Mon & Tuensang and one in Phek.
As per the severity of symptoms 1091 active cases are asymptomatic, 34 active cases are mild, 8 active cases are moderate on oxygen, 6 active cases are severe on oxygen, and 4 active cases are on ventilator.
Further, out of the total 9207 positive cases, the distribution across various categories of people is: Armed Forces/Police – 3977, Traced Contacts – 3120, Returnees – 1664 and Frontline Workers – 446.
