Kohima DPDB meeting held

Dimapur, September 1: The Kohima District Planning and Development Board meeting for the month of August was held on August 29 in the DPDB conference hall.
The meeting began with presentations from six societies, highlighting their concepts and objectives, seeking registration under the Government of Nagaland. After a thorough examination of the six societies the board decided to forward them to the government for further analysis and action.
As discussed in the previous meeting the board also appointed a committee to review the feasibility of establishment of Koinonia Baptist School at Kezieke Kohima with ADC Kohima, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa as the convener and member representatives from the traffic police Kohima, the police department and the department of school education.
The Board further discussed the issue regarding the up gradation and recognition of Chiephobozou local body to that of an urban station.
DC Kohima and vice chairman DPDB Gregory Thejawelie Sote highlighted the various schemes, projects and financial assistance to be taken up in the seven assembly constituencies under Kohima District under LADP 2019-2020 which the members of the Board approved unanimously.
District Planning Officer and member secretary of the Board further reminded the Departments who are yet to submit their departmental profiles to submit it on or before September 7.
