KBPF, KTBWU, KBYF holds solidarity prayer

Dimapur, December 8: In solidarity with the civilians “who were murdered by the Indian armed forces” at Oting Village in Mon district, the Kohima Baptist Pastors’ Fellowship (KBPF), along with Kohima Town Baptist Women Union and Kohima Baptist Youth Fellowship, had a solidarity prayer meeting at New Capital Baptist Church Kohima on December 7.

A press release informed that a short update on the tragic incident was shared by Z Mankup, Pastor at Konyak Baptist Church Kohima.
The President of KBPF, Dr Kevichalie Metha conveyed that it stands with the Konyak people at this dark hour, and assured that the Baptist churches in Kohima will continue to pray for them.
The General Secretary of KBPF, Rev. Vezopa Rhakho also appealed to all the constituent churches under KBPF to continue to pray for peace to prevail, particularly in Mon district and in the rest of Nagaland; and to uphold the bereaved families and the leaders in this most difficult time, and for the speedy recovery of the injured.
