Gang of Fantastic wins Blaze of Glory Open Dance Competition

Kohima, Aug 31: Gang of Fantastic from Manipur today won Blaze of Glory Open Dance Competition under the theme “Nagaland Dance Saga” organised by Nagaland Dancers Collective and powered by Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA) at RCEMPA, Jotsoma.
Gang of Fantastic received a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 while runner-up Kingz Generation from Dimapur received a cash prize of Rs. 30,000.
Reena was adjusted as the best promising artist and received Rs. 5000.
Video round winners Beat Kings, Fancy Crew and Lucky received Rs. 5000 each.
TaFMA Advisor, Theja Meru gave away prize to the winners. Mengu Suokhrie hosted the event while Ethinic Future gave a special performance.
Altogether, 24 dance groups took part in the competition.
The competition aimed to revive the dance culture that once flourished during the early 2000s and cater the upcoming artist by providing them a platform and an exposure to keep trends alive.
Panel of judges were Felix Mathew (Dance & Fitness Instructor Dimapur, trained and certified from Padatik Dance World, Kolkata), Nzan Ngullie (Proprietor – Trionix Dance Studio Dimapur, Dance instructor at Maple Tree School, Holotoli School & Charis High Academy Dimapur) and Akehoto Yeptho (Dance & Fitness teacher Kohima, Choreographer & Member of Elemenz Crew & Ethnic Future).
