COVID-19 Nagaland: 9 fresh infections, three deaths


KOHIMA, NOVEMBER 10: Nagaland today reported 9 fresh COVID-19 infections, 12 recoveries and 3 deaths.
Positive cases detected include: 6 in Dimapur, 2 in Mokokchung and 1 in Kohima districts, said State Nodal Officer for Integrated Disease Surveillance Project, Dr Nyanthung Kikon in the daily COVID-19 bulletin.

He also said that 12 positive patients ~ Dimapur: 7 and Kohima: 5 ~ recovered during the last 24 hours taking the recovered persons tally to 30,047 with the recovery rate at 94.01%.
There are 172 active patients, of who 18 have mild symptoms,
5 are moderate and 7 severe while 142 patients are asymptomatic, he said.
Demise of 3 patients – 2 at Dimapur and 1 at Mokokchung increased the death toll in the State to 692, of who-m 16 had co-morbid conditions, he said.
Thus far, a total of 4,01,122 suspected COVID-19 samples have been tested in Nagaland. It includes 111,181 on RT-PCR, 86,903 on TrueNat and 2,03,038 on Rapid Antigen Test, Dr Kikon said.
A total of 12,26,953 doses of COVID-19 vaccines to 715,411 persons as on Tuesday, said State Immunization Officer Dr Ritu Thurr.
