KOHIMA, OCTOBER 6: Nagaland’s COVID-19 positive cases rose to 31,373 with detection of 31 fresh infections with death toll at 667.
“31 positive cases detected today are – Dimapur: 11, Tuensang: 8, Kohima & Mokokchung: 5 and Mon & Phek: 1 each”, said State Nodal Officer for Integrated Disease Surveillance Project, Dr Nyanthung Kikon in the daily COVID-19 bulletin.
He said that 32 positive patients ~ Dimapur: 12, Kohima: 8, Phek: 7, Tuensang: 3 and Mokokchung: 2 ~ recovered during the last 24 hours taking the recovered persons tally to 29,390 with the recovery rate at 93.67%.
There are 311 active patients, of who 55 have mild symptoms, 5 are moderate on oxygen, 6 severe on oxygen and 8 on ventilator, while 237 patients are asymptomatic, he said.
A positive patient’s demise in Dimapur district increased the death toll in the State to 667, of which 15 had co-morbid conditions, he said.
Altogether 1,005 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other States, he said.
A total of 10,82,985 doses of COVID-19 vaccines to 692,700 persons as on Tuesday, said State Immunization Officer Dr Ritu Thurr. (Page News Service)
