COVID-19 Nagaland: 3 new cases, 1 death

KOHIMA, DECEMBER 14: Nagaland on Tuesday reported 3 fresh infections and 5 recoveries taking the total of confirmed cases to 32,161.
Two cases were detected in Kohima district and 1 in Dimapur, said State Nodal Officer for Integrated Disease Surveillance Project, Dr Nyanthung Kikon in the daily COVID-19 bulletin.
Nine persons also recovered today: Dimapur: 7 and Kohima: 2.
The recovery rate is 94.21%.
There are 92 active patients, of who 15 have mild symptoms and 1 severe while 78 patients are asymptomatic, he said.
After 8 days, a positive patient died in Mokokchung district increasing the death toll in the State to 700.
Thus far, a total of 4,17,885 suspected COVID-19 samples have been tested in Nagaland. It includes 111,712 on RT-PCR, 89,364 on TrueNat and 2,16,809 on the Rapid Antigen Test, he said.
A total of 13,29,683 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered to 763,958 persons as of Monday, said State Immunization Officer Dr Ritu Thurr.
