KOHIMA, MARCH 15: Nagaland on Tuesday reported 1 infection and 8 recoveries as the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases stood at 35,452.
Dimapur district reported the only infection and also 6 recoveries while Kohima and Longleng districts also had 1 each recovery.
The recovered persons tally is 33,163 with recovery rate at 93.54%.
There are 48 active patients, of who 2 have mild and moderate symptoms while 46 are asymptomatic.
The death toll in the State is 757, of which 4 died of co-morbid conditions.
Altogether 1,484 COVID-19 patients have migrated to other States.
Thus far, a total of 4,64,336 suspected COVID-19 samples have been tested in Nagaland. It includes 1,17,129 on RT-PCR, 96,116 on TrueNat and 2,51,090 on Rapid Antigen Test.
Meanwhile, the Health Department official informed that a total of 15,66,764 doses of COVID vaccines have been administered in the State till March 13.
Of the total vaccinated, 88,959 are teenagers in the 15 to 18 age bracket have been inoculated with Covaxin.
Further, a total of 14,77,805 doses of Covishield vaccines have been administered to 8,17,765 persons during the same period, he said.
Out of the total doses administered in the State, 61,041 are frontline workers, 16,017 are healthcare workers, 2,21,263 are people above 45 years and 5,19,444 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
A total of 6,36,336 beneficiaries have received the second dose. They comprise 48,922 frontline workers, 13,609 healthcare workers, 1,89,456 people above 45 years and 3,84,349 in the 18 to 44 years age group, he said.
Further, 23,704 people, including 3,480 health care workers, 18,087 frontline workers and 2,137 above 60 years of age with co-morbid conditions, have also been administered with the precautionary dose, he said.
