Assessment camp for Children with Special Needs

Kohima, March 17: Nagaland Education Mission Society, District Mission Authority (DMA) Samagra Shiksha, Kohima will be conducting an assessment camp for Children with Special Needs (CwSN) for both schooling and non-schooling from March 24 to 26.
The camp will be held in convergence with Medical Department, Sound Beats Pvt Ltd, East Delhi and TPORC Imphal, informed DEO cum District Project Coordinator DMA SS Kohima, Neizetuonuo.
The schedule for the camp starting at 10 a.m. is: March 24 – EBRC Chiephobozou Hall, March 25 – EBRC Tseminyu Hall, March 26 – Schools under L Khel at DEO Kohima Conference Hall, EBRC Viswema Hall and EBRC Sechu-Zubza Hall.
The categories to be assessed are visually impaired hearing impaired and locomotor impaired while CwSN in the age group of 6-18 years will be assessed for both school enrolled and home based.
The CwSN have been asked to go with parents/guardians and to produce copies of Aadhar card, bank pass book and disability certificate, if available, on the day of the assessment camp.
